With the U.K Invasion finally over with I find myself back in Miami still representing the ECWF as its World Heavyweight Champion; of course I knew that I would beat Bobby Peru and carry this title back to this country with me. But for all the doubters and naysayers out there who doubted my abilities, I have only one thing to say to you…
“I told you so”
I’m the greatest ECWF superstar this company has had since it’s opening… I’m a better technician than Brett Hart and Justin Spirit, a better entertainer than John Cena and Shawn Michaels, and I’m far more tactful than Ashe Draven and Samantha Curie. I’m the Icon, the person who fills the seats with people who either hope to see me beaten, or those who support my cause. And no matter how much John Cena might like to say otherwise, I’m the top superstar here
You can’t argue as I’m the ECWF World Champion
But even more importantly is the fact that I will do my best work and try to remain undefeated as the World Champion much like I did as the East Coast Champion… A title that was recently retired as John Cena opted to bring back the scrap pile United States Championship. Now at first I was a little bothered by this, but then I realized that the East Coast title really only belongs around my beautiful waist and if it’s not where it belongs… I’d rather it be retired than diminished in value as Cena defends it, so Johnny. Go ahead and have your title because as far as I’m concerned
You’ll always be second fiddle to me
So what’s next for the Icon?... Well honestly I’m not certain, I’m sure the ECWF will appoint a new challenger for my championship and line the poor bloke up for a beating at Demolition, who that might be; I’m not really sure of… Part of me hopes it’ll be Jason Spirit, I did lay a challenge out to him a few weeks ago and have yet to get a response. I’d very much like to put his career in the closet where it belongs…
Perhaps they’d sacrifice John Cena or even Ashe Draven, either way I don’t really care… I’ll move on and face the next challenger as he or she comes and defend my title against whoever is foolish enough to think they might try and take it from me.
Cheers!
